Position Information

The Department of Supply Chain Management (SCM) at Rutgers Business School invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the graduate and undergraduate programs during the Spring 2021 semester, which runs from January 19, 2021 through May 12, 2021.Successful applicants will teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses on a wide variety of topics. These will include but are not limited to introduction to supply chain management, demand forecasting, project management, operations analysis, supply chain strategies, purchasing, business logistics, green supply chain, lean manufacturing and six-sigma, business intelligence and information systems for supply chains, and healthcare.Instructors report directly to the Department Chair, and are expected to attend orientation, prepare and submit course syllabi, provide timely student feedback, respond to student emails, and adhere to grade submission policies and deadlines.Course appointments can be on the Newark campus, New Brunswick campus, online or at the Rutgers off-campus sites, including Jersey City and Madison.Offers are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screenings.Qualifications

Candidates must have earned at least a master's degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or a closely related discipline; and have extensive industry experience and connections.Location Details
