We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our hiring processes.JOB DUTIES:Teaching DS 101 Introduction to Business Analytics and other courses in the Decision Sciences discipline (in traditional, hybrid, and online modalities).Conducting scholarly and creative activities, particularly the publication of peer-reviewed articles.Providing service and contributions to the institution and community.Advising students and supervising student research.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:A doctorate in a Decision Sciences related discipline from an accredited program. ABD applicants will be considered, provided all requirements for the degree are completed by June 2025.Knowledge, Abilities, and Experience:Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics, including advanced regression modeling, data mining, and machine learning.Ability to use analytics technology and programming languages in teaching.Experience working with a diverse student population.Record of or potential for research and peer-reviewed publications.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in applied topics such as data analysis and Big Data technologies.Interest in leading curriculum development processes.Potential for developing relationships with the business community.Experience with teaching online or hybrid courses.APPLICANT INSTRUCTIONS:Review of applications will begin October 21, 2024, and the position will remain open until filled.
