APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.The Industrial Technology, Packaging, and Entrepreneurship Area in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly is creating a pool of eligible part-time Entrepreneurship lecturers for possible teaching assignments during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and/or Spring Quarters of the 2024-2025 academic year. Teaching areas include: entrepreneurship fundamentals, lean startup; design thinking; customer development; funding and managing high-growth startups; business basics for entrepreneurs; and technology entrepreneurship. Assignments will be contingent upon budget and enrollments.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMasters degree in business or a related discipline. Current and relevant industry or teaching experience that demonstrates competency to teach entrepreneurship courses that emphasize experiential learning. Any exception to this qualification for any reason may only occur with the consent of the area's tenured and probationary faculty.The Orfalea College of Business is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse university community that reflects and serves the population of California.
