PhD in a relevant field, experience with data science, remote sensing, modeling, and strong capabilities in R and/or Python are required. Additionally, previous experience using remote sensing to evaluate vegetation in Arctic and boreal systems is highly desirable.Compensation includes a 6-month salary ($32,500), fringe ($12,025), computing ($2,500), and travel ($1500) support. Start date is as soon as possible with potential to extend beyond 6 months depending on future funding. The research associate will be involved in data analysis, manuscript preparation, proposal development, and will have considerable opportunity for professional development.Duties and Responsibilities
