ECS is seeking a
DARPA Action Officer/Chief of Staff
to work in our
Arlington, VA
office.
Please Note:
This position is contingent upon additional funding.
Candidate sought to provide on-site support for a portfolio of DARPA programs in the areas of quantum sensing; positioning, navigation, and timing; and communications. The successful candidate will act as the action officer and organizational hub of a dynamic, multi-functional team. Candidate should be conversant in topics related to quantum science, photonics, or microfabrication, but does not need to be a subject matter expert. The candidate should have exceptional organizational skills and experience in project management. Responsibilities include tracking and managing multiple research efforts, facilitating team activities, and coordinating test events. Travel up to 10% may be required.
Requirements:
Conversant in topics related to quantum science, photonics, or microfabrication
Exceptional organizational skills
Minimum of two years' experience in program or project management
Successful experience tracking and coordinating tasks, deliverables, and testing events
Excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to perform proofreading and quality control on technical documents and slides
Excellent communication skills - both written (to include PowerPoint) and oral; must be able to concisely summarize and efficiently communicate the essential elements of a concept quantitatively and comprehensively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
Active DoD Secret Clearance
