Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer/Scientist

You will manage projects, prepare reports and other deliverables, and review documents prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and quality following company standards.You will also lead local and regional environmental compliance marketing efforts; maintain existing and develop new client relationships; and train, mentor, and direct staff on projects. Come Explore with us!The individual should have solid experience and regulatory knowledge in all or some of the service areas listed below:Air permitting (Title V and minor source)Stormwater/SWPPPRCRA/Hazardous wasteCompliance auditingOil Storage/SPCC plansSARA Title III (Tier II/TRI) reportingIndustrial wastewaterSustainabilityEssential Roles and Responsibilities:Grow and expand existing environmental compliance servicesPrepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverablesManage projects and staff to ensure quality and timelinessUnderstand the local and regional marketDevelop strong working relationships with clientsDevelop proposals in response to RFPs and client requestsParticipate in the development of local and regional marketing strategiesSupport safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelinesEvaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an environmental-related discipline.Minimum 8+ years of experience in a full-time regulatory compliance consulting role.Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.Valid driver's license with acceptable violation historyPreferred Requirements:For Engineers, P.E. or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresherBachelor's degree in Chemical EngineeringMaster's degreeAbout TerraconTerracon is a 100 percent employee-owned multidiscipline consulting firm comprised of more than 6,000 curious minds focused on solving engineering and technical challenges from more than 175 locations nationwide.
