FacultyJob Description:Under the direction of the Didactic Director, the Principal Didactic Team Faculty will actively participate in the design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the program's competencies, mission statement, goals, and curriculum. Responsibilities include:Provide student instructionEvaluate student performanceAcademic counsel of studentsAssure the availability of remedial instructionSelect applicants for admission to the ProgramParticipate in evaluating the Program for effectivenessAid the program in meeting accreditation compliance requirementsDevelop course schedules, syllabi, and student evaluation mechanismsParticipate in Program/SMS/LMU committeesAssist in the search process for selecting PA program facultyPerform service activities that advance the PA program and the PA professionPerform other program duties as appointedDesign, implement, coordinate, and evaluate learning and assessments of PA studentsRequired Qualifications:Possession of a master's degree in PA studies or related medical field from an accredited programCurrent NCCPA certification or certification in related medical fieldCurrent state licensure as a PA or licensure in related medical fieldMinimum of two years full-time clinical experienceExcellent oral, written, organizational, and computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:Doctoral degree in a field related to medical science or educationFull-time experience in higher education as a faculty member of a PA programTeaching experience in classroom and clinical settingsEvidence of potential for excellence in teaching and for scholarly activityPhysical Demands:Campus:
