The School of Education is a vibrant and expanding area of the University of Chester, providing high-quality Initial Teacher Education for Early Years, Primary and Secondary trainees through a range of BA and PGCE programmes delivered from its campuses in Chester, Warrington, and Shrewsbury.The School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and innovative Senior Lecturer to contribute to the teaching and development of postgraduate and undergraduate ITE programmes taught at Chester, Warrington, and Shrewsbury sites. We welcome applications from candidates with a background in Primary and Early Years English.You will be required to have an undergraduate degree, qualified teacher status, and a degree at Master’s level or equivalent (or to be working towards a Master’s level qualification). Experience of ITE at school or HEI level is essential, as is an informed understanding of the national agenda for Universities, Education, and ITE.
