to add to our team for our Plainville, CT office. You will work on several diverse projects and will be able to see how the Company’s core values are instilled in every project and in every employee.Health & Wellness Benefits:Comprehensive group medical planDental insurancePrescription drug coverageAccidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) coverageLong/short term disability insuranceHealth and dependent care flexible spending accountOnsite Fitness CenterFinancial Benefits:401k PlanGroup term life insuranceSupplemental life insuranceHSA employer fundingEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Work/Life Balance:Paid time offWorkplace flexibilityTuition reimbursementProfessional RegistrationEmployee Assistance programResponsibilities:Working as part of a team to perform environmental investigations, remedial designs and/or remedial construction projects.Preparation and execution of field work including air, soil, sediment, and groundwater sampling; remedial construction management or oversight; installing, developing, and sampling monitoring wells; logging soil borings and collection of soil samples; and drum and waste sampling.Perform engineering calculations to support the design, operation, monitoring and maintenance on remediation and mitigation systems.Assist with the preparation of reports, work plans, and correspondence.Tabulating, analyzing, and interpreting data, and preparing figures.Assist with data review and performance monitoring of operation and maintenance activities for active environmental remediation systems.Review environmental, health and safety regulations to support the compliance of our clients.Assisting with environmental permitting and licensing including research state and federal regulatory requirements.Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or other related disciplines.0-3 years’ experience in environmental consulting.Interest and/or experience with environmental site investigation/remediation projects.Prior experience overseeing and working with subcontractors (e.g., drillers, construction workers, surveyors, etc.) while performing field work, is a plus.Strong communication, analytical, and technical writing skills.Strong computer skills including Word, Excel preferred. Database and data visualization software (EQuIS, EnviroInsite, GIS) experience a plus.Willingness and ability to travel on short-term assignments as needed.Be able to work in a variety of field conditions that involve working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment. Knowledge in organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.Experience with CT RSRs and ASTM Site Assessment protocols a plus.OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, hiking, and standing.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.Mobility control of hands to set up equipment, handle samples, and operate tools.Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.We are passionate about solving our clients’ problems and dedicated to providing them with exceptional service.
