About ForefrontArts:

We are a mobile theatre company & performing arts studio with multiple locations around metro Atlanta. We provide in-person after-school theatre classes, school drama clubs, evening conservatory dance, music, and theatre classes, community theatre youth productions, workshops for schools and libraries, and summer drama camps & performances.

Job Opening:

Currently, we are seeking to add two additional Musical Theatre Directors / Choreographers to our team for upcoming productions! We have several Elementary (K-6th) as well as Teen (6th-12th) productions coming up.

Rehearsals:

Tuesdays & Thursdays in the afternoon/evening (5-8:45 pm). We have multiple locations with casts in Atlanta (Buckhead area), Alpharetta / Johns Creek, and Cherokee County.

Responsibilities:

Lead auditions, cast the show, plan a rehearsal schedule, and oversee the rehearsal process with the students.

Take charge in teaching the show material (blocking, music, choreography, etc).

Communicate any requests for Props List, Costume Ideas, Set Pieces needed, etc. to the Producer.

Communicate rehearsal schedule and any updates to Producer, parents, and cast members.

Oversee Tech Week and Show Weekend.

Qualifications:

Must be passionate about the arts and theatre, love kids & teens, and be able to teach Music, Acting, and Choreography to the cast.

Looking for individuals who are positive, flexible, punctual, great at communicating with kids & parents, organized, creative, a team player, and super kind!

Requirements:Production Staff must be able to commit to the full rehearsal schedule and performance weekend (generally a 2-3 month process), sign a non-solicitation agreement and NDA as part of their contract, and pass a background check and fingerprinting.
