The knowledge of a great Concierge is the expectation of our guests when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate the guests' needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay.What is in it for you:Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time statusCompetitive extended benefits package including medical, vision and dental for full time permanent statusEmployee Travel ProgramComprehensive Wellness PlatformDiscounts on food & beverage/spa/golfOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and over 5,000 properties with AccorWhat you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Guest Experience / VIP Concierge, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAssist guests with mail, messages, and any plans or arrangements they require including onsite and offsite activitiesAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayPromote and sell the services and concessions within the Hotel as well as services offered by suppliersAssist guest with dining reservations and handling group/special occasions dining needsProvide personalized and specialized service to VIP guests of the Hotel through pre-arrival emails, communication and follow up throughout stay and post-departureAct as a liaison and resource for other departments and employees of the HotelFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsAssist with the care and supervision of the Jasper Park Lodge’s Canine AmbassadorConstantly be aware of daily functions and promotions in the hotelFollow all safety and sanitation policiesAdhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehiclesAssist with VIP Concierge / Butler duties which include corresponding with guests by phone and email prior to arrival in a professional and timely manner. Assisting guests with dining, BBQ orders, flower requests, cabin stock requests, activity bookings, spa and transportation inquiries. Meet and greet with all arriving Butler Guests, provide hotel orientation and escort guests to room. Remain in regular contact with guests in house to ensure a seamless, personalized, enjoyable, and comfortable stay. Surprise and delight at every opportunity and work with other departments to expedite requestsContact arriving elite ALL members (Gold / Platinum/ Diamond / Limitless) prior to arrival. Personalize pre-arrival email, review and action preferences from ACDC, review room blocking, and ensure all earned privileges are extended consistentlyOther duties as assignedQualifications
Your experience and skills include:Previous customer related experience requiredExcellent knowledge of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, the town of Jasper, and local attractions preferredComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications an assetPrevious experience with Property Manager and, Open Table and Kipsu text messaging system an assetPro Serve certification an assetValid Alberta driver’s license requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliable, self-starter and goal orientedAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervisionAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesYour team and working environment:
