Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for an instructor to teach graduate and undergraduate Management courses. Faculty members are required by contract to engage in continuing scholarly development, academic advising, as well as performing department and university service. Instructional delivery may occur through on-line, traditional, and alternative instructional methods and can take place on the main campus or off-site educational locations. The School of Business strongly supports diversity, equity and inclusion, and we seek candidates who will contribute to the growth and development of a diverse campus community.Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. degree in Strategic Management or a related area with substantial graduate level coursework in strategic management. A.B.D. considered if dissertation defense is scheduled by August 2025. Successful performance in an on-campus interview, including a teaching demonstration, is required. Commitment to the education of diverse populations, perceived ability to work productively with students and colleagues, and engagement in appropriate research endeavors is required.Preferred Qualifications

Primary preference to candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Strategic Management. Primary preference to candidates with teaching and research interests in Strategic Management. Secondary preference to candidates with additional teaching and research interest in Entrepreneurship and/or Human Resources Management. Doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited institution strongly preferred.Special Instructions to Applicants

Also required is a Research Philosophy, which should include a description of your scholarly plan/research agenda and should be uploaded as a required document.
