Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Supplier Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX supporting MLRS (M270) vehicle program. The position will require working flexible hours with some travel out of the assigned geographical area to support manufacturing plants and suppliers across the United States and possibly some international suppliers. The M270 program team provides a challenging environment that emphasizes continuous improvement and proactive mindset in driving down risk to the product and customer.Program Quality Engineering activities include:Interface with multifunctional Integrated Product Teams (including personnel from Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, and Customer Project Office) and provide reviews/updates (e.g. quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non-conformances and associated root cause and corrective action activities and/or improvement initiatives).Identify process variation, sources of waste and nonconformances, and data analysis techniques to create innovative solutions to complex supply chain issues.Ensure Supplier Quality activities are effective through supporting product line validations as outlined by AS9102, accurate measurement and characterization of resultant performance parameters, and risk management.Provide systemic support for issue resolution that involves true root cause, full containment, and corrective/preventive actions.Provide internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions tied to Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).Support Supplier requests tied to program requirements, interface with customer needs, and program management activities.Drive supplier's failure/diagnosis and strong grasp of Material Review Board (MRB) activities.Develop technical solutions to complex problems and provide liaison support related to quality engineering matters.Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfaces with supplier on a daily basis.Review documentation related to supplier manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM discipline (e.g. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial).Ability to interpret drawings/specifications including a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and critical design attributes to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instructions and/or Purchase Order notes.Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Ability to obtain a secret clearance.Ability to travel up to 25% on average.Desired Skills:Demonstrated experience in Quality department/role (e.g. identifying, documenting, and/or dispositioning quality deficiencies and ensuring effective corrective actions), Manufacturing, or Supply Chain department/role.Demonstrated experience in project management from idea creation, to team involvement, through execution and closeout of actions.A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems.Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.Strong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.Demonstrated Leadership, Customer Relationship Management skills.Demonstrated experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.Security Clearance Statement:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
