Please note that our roles are remote-first but based in Australia, and we are not currently hiring anyone based overseas.The role

We’re seeking a Solutions Engineer who is deeply skilled in solution architecture, a great problem solver, and enthusiastic about driving growth and culture within the company.As a Solutions Engineer at Kanopi, you’ll act as the technical backbone, translating customer requirements into scalable and secure solutions. You’ll work closely with our engineering team, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role gives the opportunity to have a significant impact on our technical strategy and execution.The tech

Our technology stack is modern and inherently exciting. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be proficient with:React/Typescript in the frontendPython/Django in the backendGraphQL for our APIsAutomated testing, CI/CD pipelinesAWS (serverless architecture)Experience in Agile environments is essential, and familiarity with Test-Driven Development processes is highly valued. Bonus points if you have experience in API integrations and insurtech.What you get to do every day

Design, propose, and implement scalable solutions that meet customer needs and align with Kanopi’s product offerings.Work closely with clients and internal teams to translate technical specifications into reality.Provide hands-on technical support during solution deployment and resolve any issues swiftly to minimize disruption.Assist the sales team with technical expertise during pre-sales activities.Lead by example, contributing to best practices in solution design and implementation.Mentor junior team members and help foster a culture of technical excellence.What you will bring to the role

4+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer or similar role, ideally within SaaS or insurtech.A proven track record of delivering technical solutions that meet customer requirements.Strong client-facing experience with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Proficiency in solution architecture principles, including scalability, maintainability, and security.A proactive, customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving real-world problems.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.Don’t stop reading yet
