Scientist, Process ScienceThis position reports to Manager, Process Science and is based at Kenvue’s Skillman, NJ site. 68k-123kWhat you will doThe Scientist provides support in Technical Operations for a broad range of consumer cosmetics, OTC drug products, and OTC monograph drug products while developing deeper knowledge and benchmarking with other sites. The Scientist possesses a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Working under moderate direction, this individual collaborates cross-functionally as needed to provide technical support in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for cost reduction and critical initiatives. This individual is expected to implement technical aspects of projects and interact with multi-functional teams to implement projects.This position plays a role in ensuring robust product development, process optimization, and adherence to quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Strategy:

Support the implementation of process science strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.Technical Execution:

Uses scientific principles to resolve technical challenges while being able to articulate complex subject matter in clear, concise terms. Support execution of or lead small to moderately sized project tasks per established timeline.Executional Excellence:

Ensure consistent execution of a single, standardized process across all operations.Product Development:

Collaborate closely with Quality and R&D teams to ensure seamless transitions through new product development lifecycle.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Supply Chain, R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments.Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Identify and assess risks related to process changes, scalability, and compliance.Stakeholder Communication:

Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to technical operations leadership and cross-functional teams.Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about industry regulations and standards.Team Development:

Provide direction and mentorship to co-ops.QualificationsWhat we are looking forRequired QualificationsMinimum of a B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field.2+ years of industry experience is required.Experience within the Consumer, OTC, or Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
