Create engaging lesson plans for beauty-related topics to educate and inspire students.Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.Provide hands-on demonstrations and guidance for students to practice beauty techniques and skills.Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.Collaborate with the program team to enhance the overall educational experience for students in the afterschool program.Qualifications
2+ years of experience in beauty industry, specifically in hair, makeup, and skincareKnowledgeable in lesson planning for beauty-related subjectsAbility to effectively manage a classroom of students in an afterschool program settingUS Work AuthorizationProficient in verbal and written communication skills for teaching beauty techniquesCompensation

Through arts education programs and more, Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center enriches the lives of thousands of underserved youth in the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia school systems, empowering them to develop their artistic talents and achieve their greatest potential. Since its inception in 2004, LTYC has continuously expanded its programming, geographic outreach, and calendar, expanding stronger relationships among schools, students, families, and the community.LTYC has been able to impact the lives of more than 160,000 students, ranging from grades K-12. Many of our students come from schools in Baltimore City and surrounding areas that are in dire need of arts education and behavioral intervention. Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
