Come be a part of our mission to empower youth through the joy of dancing at LTYC.ResponsibilitiesDevelop creative and engaging dance lesson plans tailored to mid-day and high school students.Provide a dynamic and educational dance curriculum that meets the needs and interests of the students.Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.Create a safe and structured space where students can focus and thrive during dance classes.Lead dance classes with enthusiasm and professionalism, inspiring students to express themselves through movement.Cultivate a passion for dance and encourage students to develop their skills and confidence.Organize and oversee dance performances and showcases for students to demonstrate their progress and talents.Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate events and activities that enhance the overall dance program.Create a supportive community and enriching experience for students beyond regular dance classes.QualificationsExperience in teaching dance to mid-day and high school students.Strong background in lesson planning for dance classes.Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting.US Work Authorization.Proficient in creating engaging and interactive dance lessons.Compensation$22 - $25 hourlyAbout Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC)Through arts education programs and more, Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center enriches the lives of thousands of underserved youth in the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia school systems, empowering them to develop their artistic talents and achieve their greatest potential.
