EHS MANAGER:This position is accountable for the effective execution and technical support of the Environmental Health and Safety program of assigned facilities.The incumbent will oversee employee safety related training and promote a behavior-based safety culture, while ensuring that the facility and personnel are compliant with internal practices and procedures and outside regulatory agencies.Qualifications and Certifications:
Minimum five years' experience in an EHS position, required.Minimum five years' experience in industrial and steel fabrication, preferred.A Professional Safety Certification, such as OSHA 30 or OSHA 510/511 OR an Associate degree in Safety and Health Management, Occupational Safety, or related discipline is required.The company promotes/sponsors career growth & development, so the incumbent's motivation to obtain other certifications such as CHST, OHST, CSP is highly desirable.Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Able to communicate equally well with upper management and line workers.Team oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.Job Location:
