Thursday, September 12, 2024The May Institute is seeking an Assistant Residential Director in and around Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This is a full-time position that includes Monday through Friday flexibility and on call responsibilities.
Responsibilities:Ensure residential programs meet all regulatory and procedural standardsSupervise Program CoordinatorsOversee residential operations related (but not limited) to:
Maintenance and appearance of assigned programsRegulatory complianceResident care and supportStaff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance management
Manage vacancies and overtime utilization within assigned residencesShare on-call responsibilitiesManage documentation related to licensingParticipate in a variety of meetings as required
Work collaboratively with multiple teams and familiesAssist in the development and implementation of initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferredThree years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and implementing physical intervention strategies (e.g., Safety Care)Three years of Supervisory experience managing programsAbility to lead a team, and work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsValid driver’s license and the ability to independently travel between sites
