We are seeking a talented General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive our success.

The General Sales Manager (GSM) will lead and oversee all sales operations for our Mercedes-Benz dealership. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, uphold effective sales strategies, and manage a dynamic sales team. This role demands a blend of leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on sales expertise to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Uphold and execute strategic sales plans to achieve dealership sales targets and profitability.

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and tactics.

Team Leadership and Management:

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.

Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and support.

Customer Experience and Relationship Management:

Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction through effective management and support of sales staff.

Handle complex customer issues and resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Operational Oversight:

Monitor daily sales operations, inventory levels, and dealership financials to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Implement and manage sales processes, including lead management and follow-up systems.

Marketing and Promotion:

Collaborate, develop and execute promotional campaigns and events to drive traffic and increase sales.

Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to track performance and optimize marketing efforts.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budget analyses to the General Manager/Dealer Principal.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years

of experience in automotive sales management, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Skills:

Strong leadership and motivational skills; exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities; proficient in CRM software.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of Mercedes-Benz products and industry trends; experience with luxury automotive sales is a requirement.

Certifications:

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; any relevant certifications or training in automotive sales management is a plus.
