As the Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager at our Mercedes-Benz dealership, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commercial vehicle sales strategy and exceeding sales targets. You will lead a team of dedicated sales professionals, ensuring exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with business clients. Your deep understanding of commercial vehicle markets and your ability to leverage the Mercedes-Benz brand will be crucial in achieving success in this role.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets for Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles.Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales executives to deliver exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to senior management.Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.Ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery and beyond.Stay updated on Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle specifications, features, and benefits.Conduct product demonstrations and train sales staff on product knowledge to enhance their selling capabilities.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust sales strategies accordingly.Identify opportunities for growth in the commercial vehicle segment and develop initiatives to capitalize on them.Collaborate with other departments such as finance and service to streamline operations and enhance overall dealership performance.Ensure adherence to dealership policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Plan and execute promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive commercial vehicle sales.Other Duties: Job description is not designed to cover a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)Proven experience in commercial vehicle sales, preferably within the automotive industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Deep understanding of commercial vehicle markets, customer needs, and purchasing dynamics.Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.Customer service-oriented and friendly demeanorAbility to multitask and tend to several clients at once Positive attitude and willingness to work as a teamExcellent communication, professionalism, punctuality and attention to detail skillsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This role has supervisory responsibilities.WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates inside an automotive dealership environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.Requires frequent driving and some typing.
