Fire Chief - EMA Director

The Fire Chief/EMA Director is responsible for planning, oversight, and coordination of the day-to-day operations of fire service and emergency management for Pierce County. Training and supervision of employees and volunteers is a key component of this role, along with the ability to work unusual and extended hours to meet departmental needs during emergencies and disaster situations, training programs, preparedness exercises, and public outreach events.Applications may be picked up from the Board of Commissioners Office Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm located at 312 Nichols Street, Blackshear, GA 31516.
