ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities for the position include:
Apply quantitative methods and techniques to manage and analyze research data.
Construct, clean, validate, analyze, and document large datasets for both internal and project-related use.
Provide operational and programmatic support, including design, measurement, and assessment support.
Manage administrative aspects of projects.
Support the preparation of technical procedures and reports.
Write, compile, and edit assigned portions of proposals and project reports.
Review work products to ensure quality and consistency of content.
QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, and Experience:
Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Public Health, or related social science field required
OR
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
Proposal or report preparation experience.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Experience and knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques using R, SAS, SQL, STATA, Access, Excel, and/or other databases.
Knowledge of Python is preferred, but not required.
Experience working with large datasets (e.g., healthcare claims) in SAS, or STATA is preferred, but not required.
Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, hospital/primary care payments, or quality measures is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of Health Care Alternative Payment Models is preferred, but not required.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to take initiative, work independently and in a team environment.
