The Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) is seeking a Prospect Researcher to secure and manage funding from foundation, government, and organization sources. The position directly reports to the Director of Advancement and collaborates with various departments to ensure compliance with donor, foundation, and corporation identification requirements. It also involves maintaining data entry and supporting prospect research.Responsibilities

These duties include, but are not limited to:Identify and research potential donors, foundations, and corporations to assess their capacity and interest in supporting the organization.Compile and analyze research data to create detailed profiles and reports on prospective and existing donors. Proactively identify new donor prospects.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the advancement team to enhance donor engagement and fundraising strategies.Prepare donor research and briefing materials for staff.Update and maintain accurate records in the donor management system to track research findings and donor interactions.Monitor and report on high-net-worth individuals, corporate leaders, and philanthropic trends.Partner with Advancement Director to develop strategies for cultivating top prospects.Contribute to annual planning and goal-setting for the organization’s fundraising efforts.Stay informed on philanthropic trends, donor behavior, and market shifts that could impact giving.Qualifications

The Prospect Researcher should possess an extensive knowledge of donor engagement and fundraising strategies. One who is a goal-oriented planner who is accustomed to developing strategies and following through on them.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Business Management, Liberal Arts, Communications, Finance, or related field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in grants administration, project management support, grant writing, or other related experience.Minimum of five (5) years of experience with donor research tools.Excellent writing and editing skills with strong verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Excellent time management with an ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities.Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Adobe.Advanced knowledge of program management and CRM software.Experience with iWave/Kindsight and LexisNexis highly preferred.Other
