The Director of Development:

Oversees membership and annual giving.

Interfacing with the major donor group, the Eagle Society.

Manages the fundraising and membership budget.

Oversees the Raiser’s Edge/NXT CRM database.

Supervises a team that handles:

Corporate sponsorship.

Foundation relations and grants.

Gift processing.

Donor/member events.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can:

Supervise a team.

Develop collaborative efforts across the museum.

Maintain strong donor relationships while aligning with the museum’s mission and strategic goals.

A commitment to promoting

is integral to all fundraising and development activities. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with sales and front-line staff to promote membership sales, evaluating membership benefits, and recommending changes or enhancements.
