The Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy & Religious Studies, and Geography at Colorado State University Pueblo provides a stimulating and rigorous program of study that prepares students for a wide range of careers in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. The pay structure for this position is:$735/ credit hour for those with a Master's degree

$835/ credit hour for those with a Doctorate degree

The department is soliciting applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses in Physical Geography, Cultural Geography, World Regional Geography (all at the introductory level), and Colorado Geography (intermediate level). Preference is given to candidates who are available for in-person instruction. The Geography curriculum, with brief course descriptions, is available

online .Primary DutiesAll responsibilities of faculty members at CSU Pueblo are in accordance with the Faculty Handbook. The Faculty Handbook is the authoritative guide on specific requirements regarding teaching assignments, scholarly activity, research, and service.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Geography or a closely related field.Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Geography with an emphasis in Physical, Cultural, World Regional, or Colorado Geography.Prior experience teaching undergraduate courses in Geography.
