Gordonsville, VA 22942, USAGordonsville Power Station boasts cutting-edge infrastructure including two 1x1 GE 7EA DLNx dual-fuel combined cycle units and advanced Nooter Ericksen HRSGs equipped with dual-fuel duct burners. Enhancing its environmental credentials, the station features a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system utilizing 29% aqueous ammonia for emissions control.Opportunity SummaryThe Environmental Manager is responsible for leading the implementation, coordination, and execution of environmental programs within the plant. This includes ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permit conditions, company policies, and community commitments.Coordinate, oversee, and implement daily multi-media environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, Virginia state, local, and site-specific permit, and regulatory requirements.Ensure timely completion of Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) reporting, in line with Title V permit requirements.Compile and submit reports for all regulatory programs, including air, water, waste, and chemicals.Ensure continuous compliance with stormwater pollution prevention requirements.Implement discharge prevention measures and provide recommendations for compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements.Maintain multi-media environmental compliance plans.Support the facility owner in interfacing with local environmental regulators.Maintain the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) filing system.Serve as the primary point of contact for meetings with regulators.Coordinate and conduct Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) training for all plant personnel.Any other reasonable task as assigned by the Plant Manager.NAES SafeSafety is a core value of NAES. Physical requirements include the ability to reach, climb, walk, and stoop throughout the workday, as well as the possibility of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.Fitness for DutyAll employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program.Work ScheduleRegular scheduled workdays are Monday to Friday during regular dayshift hours.
