Assistant Parts Manager

Scott Marine Power of Ft. Lauderdale is an authorized dealer of MAN, Yanmar, OXE, and Scania marine diesel engines and parts and Aventics marine controls. We are actively seeking a candidate for Assistant Parts Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Assist customers via telephone, email, and walk-ins with parts related questions and sales.Assist all customers in selecting required parts based on engine, transmission, or generator serial numbers.Provide accurate quotes via Quickbooks estimates including shipping costs and trade discounts.Oversee shipping and receiving of parts including packing and printing proper shipping labels.Manage inventory of parts, oil, coolant, and all inventoried fluids and shop supplies.Locate and order all out of stock items.Search information in catalogs and online databases including MAN Mantis program, Yanmar YDS, and Aventics Customer Portal to confirm part numbers and quantities.Fill parts requests for service jobs and track parts given to technicians outside of estimated parts sheets.Assist with end of year physical inventory of parts.Ensure all invoices related to service parts are being billed to appropriate jobs.Lift and/or move parts up to 50 pounds.Benefits Include:Excellent PayPaid Holidays, Sick and Vacation TimeMatching Retirement PlanPaid Health Insurance* Starting pay dependent on experience.Job Type:
