Senior Program Managers serve in a pivotal role, leading strategic initiatives, partner engagements and driving new project development to aid business growth.

Successful candidates must work well in a fast-paced and often ambiguous arena, and will be rewarded by working alongside highly collaborative and entrepreneurial colleagues in an environment that feels much more “startup” than “big company”.

Key job responsibilities:

Ideate solutions to solve key customer problems by developing innovative solutions and testing through a "proof of concept" approach.Develop full-scale solutions for those that prove successful in the testing phase.Establish strong partner relationships with internal business stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across assigned suppliers and/or spend categories.Develop growth strategies to deliver against ambitious objectives for the category.Build collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders and drive the right business inputs while delivering an above-par vendor experience.Drive automation and feature development for the program working closely with Tech/product teams.Work with business and finance leaders to identify and drive savings and frugal growth.Prepare and hold business reviews with stakeholders to review vendor performance, future opportunities, and/or challenges.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of program or project management experience.Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of driving process improvements experience.Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
