We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor for our outlets at TradeWinds Island Resort. This person acts as the Manager on Duty when the manager is absent. To be successful in this role you'll manage day-to-day operations, which includes verifying that the quality, standards, and expectations of the guests are met daily, maintaining the operating budget, and ensuring that standards and legal obligations are followed.Responsibilities:Assists in the ordering of Food and Beverage (F&B) supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.Supervises daily F&B shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures.Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program.Operates all department equipment as necessary and reports malfunctions.Supervises staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.Checks staffing levels and ensures all employees are in uniform and on time.Monitors the staff and ensures all guests are being cared for during their visit.Manages inventory to ensure all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.Coordinates cleaning program in all F&B areas, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.Supports the servers, if necessary, in taking orders, running food, clearing/cleaning tables, and greeting/seating guests.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.1-3 years of kitchen management experience.Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and all holidays.
