We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Trial Attorney on behalf of a distinguished law firm in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of litigation experience, with multiple first-chair jury trials under their belt, preferably in personal injury cases. Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparations, trials, motions, and appeals.Serve as lead counsel in jury trials, particularly in personal injury cases.Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys on litigation strategies and conflict resolution.Participate in ongoing legal education and contribute to the development of the legal team.Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to ensure 5-star client care.Manage a high-value caseload, ensuring effective and timely resolution.Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of litigation and trial experience, with multiple first-chair jury trials.Experience in personal injury litigation preferred; criminal jury trial experience may be considered.Strong decision-making skills and public speaking experience.Proficiency in advanced computer skills, reviewing reports, and managing case budgets.Experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration representation.Ability to work independently while managing a heavy caseload.Strong relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Active membership in the Louisiana State Bar.Skills:
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to mentor and lead junior attorneys.Process improvement mindset with a focus on achieving positive client outcomes.High proficiency in legal research, trial preparation, and litigation strategies.Salary and Benefits:
