(UT Dallas) seeks to fill multiple open-rank (Full, Associate, or Assistant Professor) tenure system faculty positions in the
Department of Biological Sciences . There are three priority areas for hiring:Biochemistry, particularly the biochemistry of metabolic disorders, cancer, and other human diseases.Bioinformatics and computational biology.Neurobiology.The Department seeks candidates addressing broad and significant questions in biological and biomedical research, especially those using novel interdisciplinary, computational, and/or experimental approaches. We are looking for individuals to lead outstanding research and teaching programs that complement the existing departmental research and teaching strengths and synergize with other departments within the school and/or across the University.The Department of Biological Sciences is a vibrant community of researchers and educators that places high value on the effective training of graduate and undergraduate students. An ideal candidate is a consummate researcher, mentor, and educator dedicated to the success of all students and trainees in classrooms and laboratories.
