Insight Global is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join the litigation team of our client, a leading personal injury law firm in Burbank, CA. We are looking for a highly motivated trial attorney to take on a heavy load of trials coming up. The candidate should have a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience. Daily responsibilities:Day-to-day handling of cases from filing of the complaint to trial.Provide guidance and lead the litigation team.Taking depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.Reviewing drafted documents from staff and associates.Trial preparation and strategy.Prepare and strategize Motions in Limine and associated trial documents.Settlement negotiations.Settlement/dispositive proceedings (Mediations, arbitrations, etc.).Jury trials as First Chair.Post-trial motions.Provide legal opinions to clients.Comfortable working on many cases that also settle outside of court.

Minimum Requirements:5+ years of trial experience as first chair.Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.Minimum of 5 years of Personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff side preferred).Ability to work under strict deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle a large case load.Strong legal research and analysis.Strong legal writing skills.Law and motion experience.Well organized and detail-oriented.Reliable and punctual.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
