Compensation: $23-25

As the Activity Enrichment Leader, you will be leading a small group of senior adult residents living at Belmont Village Sunnyvale.

Excellent position for former educators, Social Work, Therapeutic Rec, Psychology or Kinesiology graduates, or those with experience leading group activities with special needs populations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field of study.

Proficient in written and spoken English.

Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends.

Your Typical Responsibilities

Leading small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award-winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.

Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities.

Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation, and maintaining compliance related documentation.

Skills Required for Success

Confidence leading small groups of seniors or special needs populations in creative and engaging activities.

Proficiency creating in Canva, Power Point, or other related software and learning new software.

Creativity, Enthusiasm, Organization, Time Management, and Attention to Detail.
