The most successful employees are personally aligned with the company's core values of Trust, Ownership, Teamwork, Dignity, Respect, Integrity, & Learning.Your Typical ResponsibilitiesLeading small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award-winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities.Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation.Skills Required for SuccessConfidence leading small groups of seniors or special needs populations in creative and engaging activities.Proficiency creating in Canva, PowerPoint or other related software and learning new software.Creativity, Enthusiasm, Organization, Time Management, and Attention to Detail.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAssociates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field of study.Proficient in written and spoken English.Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends.What Sets You ApartYou have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.You have prior hands-on experience leading senior adults in activities within an Assisted Living or Memory Care community.You find value and personal fulfillment when serving or working with the senior population.Your co-workers or colleagues describe you as dependable, adaptable, and compassionate.You love spending time with seniors and consider yourself a servant leader.Benefits AvailableBelmont Village Senior Living offers full-time employees benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, prescription, Paid Time Off, 401(k) savings with employer match, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.
