Research and development of new reagents and chemistries.
Our client is an established provider of products and services used in cell and gene therapy development. We are seeking a Scientist with expertise in CRISPR and gene manipulation to join their expanding product development R&D group.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand the company’s reagent product portfolio through use of novel chemistries and IP
Manage custom projects for customers
Assist with new GMP product development
Qualifications
PhD in Bioengineering or related field; will consider MS with 5+ CGT bench experience
Extensive knowledge of nucleic acid structure and thermodynamics, and the ability to design, amplify, manipulate, detect and transfect nucleic acids into stem cells and primary cells.
Experience with genetic manipulations, transfection and/or CRISPR
Experience with GMP manufacturing of reagents a plus
Ability to work independently as well as in group settings
High degree of integrity, honesty and discretion.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
