03/10/24; complete applications received after that date may be considered as needs arise.Position Summary:Undergraduate Education (UED) is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2024-25 academic year. UED courses include multiple programs; including courses in Honors (multiple disciplines) First-Year Experience and Undergraduate Research. See the Catalog for a full list of course offerings, UED Courses are listed as UNIV, HNRS or LDRS. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.Minimum Qualifications:The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a master’s degree in a relevant academic discipline. Candidates must have experience teaching in a related field and evidence of teaching excellence.Preferred Qualifications:Evidence of inclusive and anti-racist pedagogies. Bilingual candidates will be given preference.Responsibilities:Lecturer positions in UED carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching as defined in the Faculty Personnel Policies & Procedures.
