Position must be located near a major airport in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Ohio, Michigan, Western Pennsylvania, or AlabamaSales Technical Support includes on-site technical assistance, technical education, and adherence to industry and government regulations. Responsibilities include product evaluation of new and existing products, warranty handling through direct product investigation, and management of warranty critical situations.1. Sales Technical Support:

On-site technical assistance, traveling with CST (Commercial Specialty Tires) and dealer salespeople to end-users. Utilize engineering tools and measurement systems (C-Logger, CLL, CPC, Temperature probes, Mobile Scales, TMPH analysis, etc.) for thorough application understanding and proper product recommendation. Monitor jobsites long-term for tire application-related changes, conduct out-of-service tire analysis, and collect & share in-field vision of competitor activity. Organize, follow up, and analyze evaluation tire programs on specific products; maintain tire follow-up reports and database; create technical reports on outstanding results; collect testimonials; and create sales tools for our team and dealers using best performance examples.2. Technical Education:

Participate in the design and creation of training materials that increase brand value and customer effectiveness in using CST products. Provide technical training to field sales staff and customers as needed. Organize and plan training sessions, working with different vendors to cover material needed for the training program. Conduct theoretical information and hands-on exercises for better understanding of tire application issues, and perform product presentations to end-users and/or dealers.3. Field Product Evaluation (PPMO):

Conduct technically valid field investigations, effectively communicate results to all parties, and coordinate follow-up. Maintain intimate product knowledge and working knowledge of services related to the products of interest. Carry out testing in the USA market to evaluate potential new products and existing products, from user evaluation stage to final results analysis and recommendation stage. Conduct fleet technical surveys at various locations across the country; inspect and measure active tires based on field evaluation objectives; analyze tire use and performance thoroughly; monitor competitor products; coordinate logistics of evaluation product placement; and implement evaluation plans as per Research & Development requirements.4. Product Testing / Approval:

Coordinate testing programs with government logistics agencies or other OEMs for the (re)approval of CST tires.5. Warranty:

Inspect outstanding warranty claim products. Travel across the territory with respective salespeople and actively participate in tire inspection and determining the cause of damage. Create warranty reports for clear communication of tire condition causes and provide sound advice for better tire usage. Review all warranty claims and complete warranty reports for CS HQ. Control and approve warranty claims from field personnel. Conduct continuous product auditing from a quality perspective and perform Adjustment Ratio analysis periodically. Directly identify potential misapplications, effective material or workmanship issues, and/or potential warranty process misuse.6. Technical Data Analysis:

Coordinate technical information data to provide technical support to internal staff and customers, utilizing hardware/software solutions as needed to accomplish engineering objectives. Identify and conduct appropriate technical analysis and methods for assignments, providing proper reporting documentation. Create engineering analysis and presentations, discuss warranty results, and provide feedback for improving product performance. Update local executives and the plant design department on product performance and issues regularly. Create detailed Technical Quality Information Reports for the Design Department on possible material or manufacturing issues.7. Digital Solutions Support and Deployment:

Conduct hands-on system installation of DS portfolio, including telematic devices (CLL). Ensure systems operate regularly and follow up for potential issues. Coach salespeople and partners on capabilities and usage of DS. Report sensor status regularly.Additional Information

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree (4 year) in Business, Engineering, Sales, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant professional experience OR 5+ years experience in the tire field.Experience working in other functional areas (outside of Sales).Experience in Manufacturing and/or R&D.Experience working in a multinational corporation with other cultures.Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.Organizational knowledge: Understanding of relevant structures of the organization.Knowledge and understanding of local networks within the target function.Basic understanding of product portfolio and organization in other divisions.Market Knowledge: Understanding customer needs, client segments, trend setting, and the competitive environment (Tires and basic Telematic) Industry Knowledge.Understanding of competition and gaps in our proposal (Basic knowledge for connectivity, electronic, and Big Data) Functional Knowledge.Guarantee proper efficient Sales, Logistics, etc processes. Business proposals, time, and territory management.Product knowledge: Analyze and match market and industry gaps with BU proposals and transmit/escalate to market or internal organization.Basic Financial Knowledge: Understand main P&L drivers and identify threats.Proficiency in English language.Deep proficiency in sales-relevant skills: Presentation, Negotiation, Consulting Skills.Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
