Think Academy U.S. is looking for a

Part-time Math Teacher

at San Jose Campus (Zipcode 95129), who is dedicated and enthusiastic to join our team! As a math teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in an in-person setting. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for teaching and a love of kids.

What You Will Do:

Teach engaging lessons in English for elementary level mathematics to our students using Think Academy curriculum

Grade: PreK-G2, G3-G5

Language: English

Format: In-person

Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that fosters a love of mathematics among a class of about 8-16 students

Identify and address individual learning needs by providing personalized assistance to students

Grade homework and provide other related key teaching services

Maintain open and proactive communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, achievements, and areas of concern

Conduct parent-teacher conferences/meetings as needed to discuss student performance

Foster a safe and respectful learning atmosphere for all students

How You Can Be Qualified:

Bachelor’s degree or above, all majors are welcome as long as you're passionate about kids and math teaching; Education or STEM-related majors are preferred

Strong knowledge and understanding of math concepts and problem-solving techniques

Prior math teaching or general teaching experience is not required, but it is highly preferred

Super passionate about teaching and the education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues

Proficiency in utilizing technology for instructional purposes

Can commit to at least one whole semester of teaching without interruption (Spring semester: Jan - May; Summer: June - Aug; Fall semester: Aug - Dec)

Highly responsible and enjoys working with kids

Familiarity with Math Competitions is a plus

Available and willing to work during weekday late afternoons and weekends

You must be authorized to work in the United States

You must be able to commute to teach in-person at one of our San Jose Cupertino Campuses
