Part-Time Higher Elementary Mathematics Teacher

to join us

as soon as possible . You will be responsible for teaching our students in a group class format throughout the upcoming Summer and preferably Fall Semester (June 2024 - August 2024).

Job Responsibilities

Teach engaging lessons in English for Higher Elementary Level Mathematics using Think Academy's curriculum.

Foster an inclusive and positive classroom learning environment for classes of roughly 8 - 16 students.

Identify and address individual learning needs by providing personalized guidance to students.

Grade homework assignments and provide other related key teaching services.

Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, achievements, and areas of concern.

Conduct parent-teacher conferences/meetings as needed to discuss students' performance.

Qualifications (REQUIRED)

Must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree or higher.

All majors are welcomed, but Education, Mathematics, or STEM majors preferred.

Must have a reliable commute to teach in-person at our San Jose (Cupertino) Campus.

Must have weekend availability.

Must be able to commit to at least one whole semester of teaching without interruption.

Qualifications (PREFERRED)

Strong knowledge and understanding of math concepts and problem-solving techniques.

Prior teaching experience, especially in mathematics, is highly preferred.

Strong passion and interest in teaching and the education industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in utilizing technology for instructional purposes.

Reliable, hard-working, and responsible.

Enjoy working with younger children.
