Assistant or Associate Professor of Development EconomicsCornell SC Johnson College of BusinessCornell UniversityThe Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applications from qualified individuals for a position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the Applied Economics and Policy (AEP) area with an intended start date of July 1, 2025. The position will be based in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and located in Ithaca, NY.The responsibilities of the position include producing high-quality research in the field of development economics; graduate student supervision, including the ability to guide field research in low- and middle-income countries; teaching introductory and advanced courses for various undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the college; and service to the academic community, the AEP area, the SC Johnson College of Business, and the University at large. Securing external research grants or contracts, as well as public outreach to help translate research into real-world impact, are also strongly encouraged.The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. or be on track to completing one by summer 2025, in economics or a related field, with a strong record of applied research in development economics and in teaching.To be considered for this position, please apply at https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/28367.
