Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Coach for Women's Rowing. Among the key duties of the position are the following:Assists in establishing and maintaining a nationally competitive intercollegiate women's rowing program in the Big Ten and NCAA.Assists in all aspects of the rowing program, including recruiting, coaching current student-athletes on and off the water, assisting in fundraising, and alumni relations.Position Status: Full TimeFLSA: ExemptQualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree.Certifications/Licenses
A valid driver's license is required for this position; use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of NCAA regulations relative to proper rules of competition in the sport of rowing.Good organization skills.Ability to communicate with student-athletes and the media.Computer literate.Understanding of technical knowledge of the sport of rowing.Ability to help develop the student-athlete to their full potential.Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate rowing coaching and competition experience.Knowledge of Big Ten Conference and NCAA regulations.Special Conditions
