COHP-Nursing - MU9510Job Description:The Department of Nursing invites applications for a nine month tenure-track position starting in the Spring of 2025 at the Assistant Professor rank.Provide service to the School of Nursing, College of Health Professions, University, and nursing profession/community.Responsible for assisting with the accreditation process for the School of Nursing.Work with full and part-time faculty.Curricular development, revision, and evaluation.Active engagement in student recruitment, admission, and progression.Seek external funding for programmatic enhancements.Establish partnership for future the mission of the program.Lead evaluation of program and students’ outcomes.Teach students in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program/ Pre-Licensure BSN program and advise nursing students.Engage in scholarship and research.The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University’s general education curriculum and its emphasis on using high-impact teaching practices, particularly those affiliated with one (or more) of the institution’s pedagogical initiatives (e.g., Community-based Learning, Critical Thinking, First Year Seminar, Writing Across Curriculum, etc.).
