Job Description - Cook - Part-Time 20 hours (3304300)Schedule:

Part-Time 20 hours. Monday through Friday: 3:30 pm - 7:30 pmUnder the general supervision of the Executive Chef and Food Service Supervisor, the Cook performs a wide variety of duties relative to the handling, preparation, presentation, and service of food for consumption by patients, staff, visitors, and the community.Position includes:Following recipesPrepping, cooking, and serving foods for a fast-paced Patient Cook-to-Order Room Service linePrepping/cooking foods for the cafeteriaPrepares daily menu cycle items, specials, and catering as assignedCleaning equipment and work areasAdhering to strict food safety guidelines.Working Conditions:Fast-paced environment in which employees must be able to move from one task to another quicklyLong periods of standing in a stationary position in the warm-to-hot environmentTasks require pushing carts, carrying/moving items up to 20lbs, bending, lifting, reaching, and twistingGrade:
