www.flagshippioneering.com .Position Overview:Prologue is seeking an experienced and highly motivated scientist with a proven track record of analytical and biophysical characterization of diverse biologic molecules to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the design and execution of analytical evaluation of our protein biologics, helping to drive our platform and therapeutic pipeline forward.They will be responsible for the detailed analytical characterization of early biologics using SDS-PAGE, HPLC/UPLC (SEC, RP, HIC, IEX), light scattering (SEC-MALS, DLS), thermal stability (DSF, DSC) and capillary electrophoresis-based methods (CE-SDS, cIEF). They will also contribute to platform and project advancement through interfacing with matrix teams and managing deliverables related to the Protein Analytics workflows.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the building of the internal protein analytics capabilities to support project advancement and platform optimizationPerform analytical characterization, being accountable for planning and execution of personal characterization experimentsStay scientifically current and contribute to the implementation of new technologiesAssist in managing external CRO relationships related to protein analyticsAnalyze, document and present on analytical results for novel protein biologicsPrepare and review scientific reports, publications, presentations, and regulatory documents.Maintain a strong sense of teamwork, mentoring colleagues on the development and execution of protein analytical experiments.Qualifications:PhD in Biochemistry or a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in industry required or a MS with 8 years of industry experienceEvidence of creativity in addressing difficult protein analytics challengesExcellent communication, attention to detail, documentation and technical writing skillsAt Flagship, we recognize there is no perfect candidate.
