About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded.

Job SummaryThe School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the general area of Electromagnetics. The School is interested in broad areas of applied electromagnetics at frequencies up to THz, including but not limited to components, antennas, devices, modeling, sensors, and remote sensing. Researchers with interdisciplinary applications of electromagnetics to other areas (bio, security, compatibility, nanoelectronics, quantum, space, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

The School seeks individuals with outstanding potential for research achievement, and a strong aptitude and interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as interest and experience in translating their research to commercial applications. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent.

Candidates will be considered at the ranks of Assistant and Associate Professor. Exceptional candidates will also be considered at the rank of full Professor.
