The Division of Clinical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, BE/BC fellowship-trained physician, to reimagine the Division of Medical Genetics. We are seeking someone interested in building a dynamic and supportive environment committed to clinical excellence and quality patient care. This position is open to all levels of experience with the completion of ABMG fellowship training.Come to The University of Missouri. Responsibilities include:

Providing general consultative and patient care

Patient panel includes some adult patients but consists predominantly of pediatric patients.

Oversight of genetic patient infusionsWorking with protocol coordinator to develop Clinical trialsAn active MFM program and the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental disorders are extensive sources of referralsConsult only call; rarely called in.

20% Teaching/Research/Administrative Responsibilities

Research interests are encouraged

Multi-disciplinary support to include:

Genetic counselorsDieticiansSocial workersPediatric psychologistsChild & Adolescent Psychiatry

Requirements:MD/ DO degree and be board certified or board eligible (ABMG) in medical geneticsCandidates will be evaluated on:3+ years' experience in Medical Genetics post-fellowshipDemonstrated interests in academic medicine, teaching, and clinical excellence.Be committed to working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environmentApplication Materials
