Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pediatrics (NTT) - Pediatric Genetics Chief

The Division of Clinical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, BE/BC fellowship-trained physician, to reimagine the Division of Medical Genetics. We are seeking someone interested in building a dynamic and supportive environment committed to clinical excellence and quality patient care. Responsibilities include:

Providing general consultative and patient care

Patient panel includes some adult patients but consists predominantly of pediatric patients.

Oversight of genetic patient infusionsWorking with protocol coordinator to develop Clinical trialsAn active MFM program and the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental disorders are extensive sources of referralsConsult only call; rarely called in.

20% Teaching/Research/Administrative Responsibilities

Research interests are encouraged

Multi-disciplinary support to include:

Genetic counselorsDieticiansSocial workersPediatric psychologistsChild & Adolescent Psychiatry
