Associate Research Professor in the Department of Mathematics to work with Professor Mischaikow's research group to carry out interdisciplinary research in nonlinear dynamics over a broad range of topics. These are limited terms, non-tenure-track positions at the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. In association with Professor Mischaikow this position will involve collaborative research with groups from other universities, mentoring postdoctoral fellows, assisting graduate students research efforts and directing undergraduate research projects.Posting Number

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

PhD required, 5+ years of academic research.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D. degree, have a position of at least an associate professor or its equivalence, and show outstanding evidence of research in applied and computational mathematics with deep knowledge of topological methods in nonlinear dynamics.
