We are seeking a dedicated EEC certified
Center Float Teacher
to join our team. You will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and creating a positive learning environment. If you have experience working in a daycare, a love for teaching, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply.Center Float Teacher Responsibilities:Gain a positive, hands-on experience floating between infant, toddler and preschool classrooms.Assist the Infant/Toddler Supervisor and Preschool Supervisor as needed.Work an 8-hour schedule between the hours of 6:30am-6 pm.Create an encouraging, welcoming, and safe environment that helps promote positive social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.Encourage and foster positive relationships, interactions, and communication between staff, parents, and children.Center Float Teacher Requirements:Infant/Toddler and Preschool EEC certification.At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.Demonstrated experience working with children; child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, physically lift a minimum of 35 pounds, participate in physical activities including walking with children, go up and down stairs while supervising children, and always maintain full sight and sound supervision of children.Center Float Teacher Qualifications:Positive, reliable, collaborative, and encouraging personality.Patient, creative, and a genuine love for working with young children.Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, read, and write English.Center Float Teacher Compensation and Benefits:$1,500 Sign-on Bonus*Subsidized MBTA pass or free off-site parking.Opportunity to grow within our center.Life and disability plans & individual 403(b) retirement plans.Paid time off (3 weeks of vacation, holidays, and sick days).*New employees that are sign-on bonus eligible are paid after three months of active employment if they are in good performance standing at the time of payment.If you are passionate about early childhood education, and have the necessary skills and qualifications, we invite you to apply.
