As a child’s first teacher, you will hold a very dear place in a parent’s heart forever! The privilege of caring for someone else’s baby is given only to those who are truly patient, dedicated and compassionate individuals.

As an Infant Toddler Teacher at Primrose School of Evergreen, you will provide a safe and loving environment for babies ranging in age from six weeks to 24 months old. With a captivating and provided curriculum of music, puppetry and storytelling you will provide opportunities for our youngest children to safely discover and explore their expanding world.

We may have other teaching opportunities in our Infant, Toddler, Two's, Preschool, and Pre-K programs.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of children in a teacher

The teacher provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children

Teachers should be able to assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis

Observe all rules and regulations about the health, safety, and care of children

Plans with Education Coach and implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children

MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child-family-community, Curriculum), including 3 units in Infant/Toddler required.

Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred

Must meet required state background check

Must be able to work on iPad to enter children's daily logs, and write incident reports and messages to parents.
